peter here
writing you from hot, hot, hot hollywood
where the temp is high and the gas prices are higher
it's been a terrific summer
my writing partner brad and i have set up a movie with the producers of BEING JOHN MALKOVICH
we couldn't be more excited
i LOVE this script, and i LOVE these producers
it's a dream team, and i am soooo thrilled we've started down this path together
hopefully, i'll have more exciting news on this project soon
we also sold a little TV movie to ABC Family
so we're going to spend the next few months writing that
it's a sweet, funny rom-com (that's romantic comedy for you non-hollywood types)
also, LEAVING BARSTOW continues to bring in creative accolades
in addition to the AUDIENCE AWARD from the newport beach film fest
michelle clunie was named BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS at the breckenridge film fest
two fests, two awards - not bad, right? (continued below)
LEAVING BARSTOW screens next at the RHODE ISLAND FILM FESTIVAL
on SATURDAY, AUGUST 9th at the CABLE CAR CINEMA in PROVIDENCE, RHODE ISLAND

the brilliant writer/star kevin sheridan will be there, and i promise you'll enjoy the film
it's a real labor of love
we've also got screenings coming up in BIG BEAR (Sept 12 or 13th), SACRAMENTO, and various other film fests over the next few months
